We are giving you a very welcome to the Queen of Transylvania Embassy Ball 2016. Each year the Queen of Transylvania is giving his cultural ambassador title and mandate to travelers from all over the world into a delicate ball.

Like in My Fair Lady movie (1964) the Embassy Ball is a recreation of the aristocratic XIX century New Year Eve’s Party.

For two years we are choosing The Dracula Winter Castle from Arcalia for this unique event. We invite you to become the cultural ambassador of your country at the New Year Eve’s Transylvanian Party 2016.

The Queen of Transylvania New Year’s Eve Embassy Ball is a very unusual experience. By coming to this different event you shall become the ambassador of your country in Transylvania: you will have to present in 10 minutes the best of your country, your region and your town.

Secondly, the Queen of Transylvania will make you the ambassador of Transylvania to your country. In this way you will have to express your Transylvanian experience to your family and friends. This voyage will make of you a real cultural ambassador.

Thirdly, you will have to be dressed in formal wear, formal dress: black tie for the gentlemen and long prom dresses or long formal dresses for the ladies.

The attendees of this exquisite event will have a special dinner with the Bram Stoker recipes from the Dracula book.

The Queen of Transylvania Embassy Ball is a pleasant occasion to find more about the old New Year Eve’s traditions from Transylvania and Romania: the garlic amulet, the onion meteorological calendar, the „Little plough” song (in Romanian „Pluguşorul” is the myth of the nation creation), the „Goat dance” (in Romanian „Capra” is an antique dance from 1,600 BC that reflects the death and rebirth of vegetation), the „Sorcova” performance (a magic wand and incantation to transmit health, youth and fertility) and many other ancestral transylvanian traditions.

The Queen of Transylvania Embassy Ball is more then on usual ball dance, is an incursion into the best of Transylvania mythology and old social life. Come to Transylvania and become the cultural ambassador of your country!
