Day 1 Saturday: Arrival in Transylvania from LIVERPOOL

     Arrival from Liverpool to Cluj-Napoca Airport with BlueAir 17:00. Visit the cathedrals of Cluj – the capital of Transylvania: Orthodox, Catholic, Reformed, Greek-Catholic. Dinner at the Hotel Lucy Star Cluj-Napoca.

Day 2 Sunday: Wooden Churches of Maramures – 230 km

     Sunday Service in Cluj-Napoca. Visit of Gherla (the largest Armenian cathedral in Europe with Rubens’s painting). Lunch in the center. Visit the Monastery of Rohia. Wine and coffee break in Targu Lapus. Wooden monasteries of Maramures – UNESCO heritage: Plopis, Surdesti, Budesti, Desesti. Dinner and overnight at the Barsana Monastery (guest house).

 Day 3 Monday: Maramures and Painted Churches of Moldavia I – 250 km

      Visit the Merry Cemetery of Sapanta and the Monastery of Peri (the highest wooden building in Europe). Visit the Moisei Monastery (Greek-Catholic). Lunch in Borsa.

     Discover the Carpathians. Painted Churches of Voronet (the most important) and Gura Humorului UNESCO. Wine and coffee break in Gura Humorului. Dinner at Hotel Simeria Gura Humorului.

Day 4 Tuesday: Painted Churches of Moldavia II – 240 km

     Visit the Monasteries of Sucevita, Arbore, Dragomirna and Suceava UNESCO. Lunch in the center. Visit the Monasteries of Neamt, Agapia and Varatec. Wine and coffee break in Piatra Neamt. Dinner at Hotel Belvedere Piatra Neamt.

Day 5 Wednesday: Wonders of the Carpathians and Hungarian Churches – 250 km

     Visit the Bicaz Gorge. Lunch in Sovata. Corund (Ceramic). Wine and coffee break in Odorheiu Secuiesc. Visit of Sighisoara UNESCO. Dinner at Hotel Rex Sighisoara.

Day 6 Thursday: Fortified Churches of Transylvania 300 km

     Visit the fortified churches of Saschiz, Viscri (UNESCO) and Rupea. Lunch in Brasov – Evangelical Black Church. Wine and coffee break in Sinaia. Visit of Bucharest by night. Dinner at Hotel Triumf Bucharest.

 Day 7 Friday: Bucharest and Snagov Monastery

     Visit the House of the People (the largest building in Europe), the Patriarchal Cathedral, the Catholic and Anglican Churches and the center of Bucharest (Lunch). Visit the Snagov Monastery. Wine and coffee break in center. Dinner at Hotel Triumf Bucharest.

 Day 8 Saturday: return to LIVERPOOL. Departure from Bucharest Airport to Liverpool with BlueAir 8:20

Day 2 Sunday: Fortified Churches of Transylvania I -230 km

     Sunday Service. Visit the Monastery of Ramet (relics of S. Ghelasie) and Church of Blaj (Greek-Catholic). Lunch in center. Visit the Fortified Church of Biertan UNESCO. Wine and coffee break in Sighisoara UNESCO. Dinner in Medias center. Hotel Central Medias (new rooms).

Day 3 Monday: Fortified Churches of Transylvania II 210km

     Visit of Sibiu (the Orthodox and Evangelical cathedrals). Visit the Fortified Church of Calnic UNESCO. Lunch in Sebes. Visit of Alba Iulia fortress and cathedrals. Wine and coffee break in the center. Dinner at Grand Hotel Sibiu (Dumbrava).

Day 4 Tuesday: Churches of Wallachia and the Carpathians Mountains -250 km

     Discover the Olt Defile. Visit the Monastery of Cozia. Lunch in Ramnicu Valcea. Visit the Horezu Monastery UNESCO. Ceramic of Horezu UNESCO. Visit the Royal Monastery of Curtea de Arges (relics of S. Filofteia). Wine and coffee break in the center. Dinner in Pitesti. Hotel La Cetate Pitesti.

Day 5 Wednesday: Saint Andrew’s Cave – 400 km (by A2 „the Sun Motorway”).

     Discover the Great Romanian Plain. Lunch in Cernavoda – Danube. Visit the Saint Andrew’s Cave (monastery). Visit of Adamclisi and Tropaeum Traiani. Wine and coffee break in Murfatlar Winery. Dinner in Constanta. Hotel Mihaela Mamaia.

 Day 6 Thursday: Martyrs and Saints of Lesser Scythia 250km

     Rest on the Black Sea beach. Lunch in the center of Constanta. Visit the cathedral (relics of Christian Martyrs) and the archaeological museum (painted hypogeum tomb). Wine and coffee break in Cernavoda – Danube. Dinner at Hotel Triumf Bucharest.

Day 7 Friday: Bucharest and Snagov Monastery
